About Me

Lynne Tapper

I am a lifelong endurance athlete with the dual goal of training and racing until my bones turn to dust and sharing that passion with as many people as possible.

The little things have made this a tough process for Lynne.  Sleeping on her side, wearing a t-shirt, standing or walking for long periods of time are either impossible or incredibly uncomfortable.  Bathing is also off-limits until she heals.  But, sometimes a shower is just the refreshment you need.

So, this morning, Lynne and Liz were able to construct a shower-poncho made out of garbage bag, masking tape and a lycra swim jacket to waterproof the surgical area.  I’m not sure if they used the kitchen or lawn-leaf bag, but it seemed like a good fit and something we’ll see on a Paris runway shortly.  She was able to “shower” and felt a moment of normalcy.
