About Me

Lynne Tapper

I am a lifelong endurance athlete with the dual goal of training and racing until my bones turn to dust and sharing that passion with as many people as possible.

This blog will NOT focus on the medical information that surrounds this decision.  There are lots of doctors, genetic counselors, websites, message boards, and patients to whom you can talk to find out more about this medical issue.  If you’d like to see a chart that details the risks, click here: http://www.bracnow.com/understanding-my-results/positive-results.php.

After doing your own research, you can agree with me or disagree with me.  But it’s not your decision.  It’s my body and my life. This blog will focus on what I’m feeling ONE MONTH PRIOR to the surgery and my recovery AFTER the surgery.  I will put my energy towards healing well and resuming my amazingly blessed life with my off-the-chart wonderful husband and children.
